1. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for general information and personal, non-commercial use. None of the content I generate is for children, so you must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. You agree not to use the Site for unlawful purposes or try to upload or distribute content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable. We’re all here to learn and maybe have fun, please don’t be a dick.

2. Content & Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, images, code, layout) may be viewed and printed for personal use only. You must not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit Site content without our written consent. Please reach out to me and ask to collaborate. If you copy something, especially for commercial gain, we have the right to pursue legal action.

3. User Contributions

This is a wordpress hosted website. Comments are built in, as are contact forms. If you submit content (comments, messages), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, modify and publish that content. Do not submit anything confidential or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove or refuse content at our discretion. Again, please keep my life crime and stress free.

4. Privacy

Frankly put, I don’t want your data. We comply with UK GDPR Laws and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data. We do not collect payment card details directly. We might collect limited personal information when you use the site, for example if you put your email into a contact form, browsing time, and device type. We use data only where necessary, for example, to understand how visitors use the Site, and determine security threats. Basic anonymous analytics cookies may be used.  As in line with GDPR, you can request access to the personal data we hold about you, and it’s deletion.

5. Third-party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party sites or services. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Scroll down for contact information for commercial arrangements for mutual benefit. This website uses at least 5 other companies to actually run it and have it operating. We don’t knowingly share your data with those other companies, but it is likely that (e.g.) the server host is interested in where the traffic is coming from around the world. You, the user, consent to this sort of data collection.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and limit our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site. Literally nothing on this site constitutes as professional advice and you should absolutely not take any action based on what you read here. This does not affect rights you cannot legally exclude (for example certain statutory consumer rights).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Site.

8. Changes & Termination

We may modify or discontinue the Site (or these Terms) at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site for any reason.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the English courts.
